Refuse the Blues
A guide for the overwhelmed mama on how to combat the postpartum blues .
Becoming a mother is one of the most amazing experiences of a woman's life, it can also feel like the loneliest. When baby is on the way, we shower mom with gifts that will help ease her into motherhood. Who doesn't get sentimental over those adorable, tiny onesies!
In the excitement of all the baby-readiness, preparing mom for the physical and emotional changes her body will experience often gets overlooked. I have never met a new mom that during the first few months of motherhood didn't ask one of these questions, "what is wrong with me and why is this so hard?"
This course is designed to give you some relief to those questions. You will also receive a few simple tools to help combat the baby blues.
There is a reason why this is so hard and there is nothing wrong with you for feeling like it is.
I am a 200 hour certified yoga teacher, 85 hour certified prenatal yoga teacher, and Postpartum Exercise Specialist. I pursued all of those certifications because I am a woman who has experienced the frustrating body changes that come with pregnancy and struggled with postpartum healing. I do not have all the answers and I am still pursuing my own health, but I do know that I have something to give you. I believe you deserve more education, coaching, and tools to help support your strength during pregnancy and postpartum.
I created Strong Mother Movement because it is everything I wish I had during pregnancy and immediately postpartum. I don’t want any woman to have to go through birth blind to what her body is experiencing. Neither do I want her to wade through core exercises postpartum that cause more injury instead of healing it.
I am passionate about supporting women as they prepare physically, emotionally, and mentally for birth. I want them to feel empowered in their labor experience. After birth, I want to actively coach them through rebuilding foundational strength postpartum so they can live life as a STRONG MOM.
